What the future of milling will look like is up to you and us. One thing is clear: Shaping a sustainable future requires efficient solutions. This starts with the construction and operation of a mill with less. And goes on with producing more with the same. Just as we do with Mill E3 and numerous pioneering digital services.
Milling is a cornerstone of food production. Many of the foods people enjoy every day are made from flour provided by millers – a role they have played in our societies over centuries. Modern milling uses many advanced technologies but, at its core, it relies on the fundamental process of grinding cereal grains between two hard surfaces to produce flour.
Much of the compact plant layout is owed to novel engineering approaches.
This includes break passages on the second floor and 3-dimensional pipe routing without air separation that is only possible with TUBO.
Modular equipment: instead of single components preassembled and tested modules are supplied. E.g. the airlock module that includes piping, cyclones and airlock on a suspension. By reducing the number of parts from 108 to 2, a quick installation on site can be guaranteed.
Hybrid transport with Tubo: Tubo adds to pneumatic transports in the grist section. It allows a flexible plant design and helps to reduce the number of transfer points. Tubo saves up to 10 % of conveying energy in cleaning and the mill.
